O congresso congrega pesquisadores, professores da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o B\u00e1sica, p\u00f3s-graduandos e estudantes de toda a Am\u00e9rica Latina para discutir os desafios contempor\u00e2neos da forma\u00e7\u00e3o docente, interculturalidade, \u00e9tica, pol\u00edticas curriculares e o papel do ensino de Filosofia na constru\u00e7\u00e3o democr\u00e1tica e emancipadora.
